API reference
Use the Cloakmail API to manage aliases, mail, rules, and domains from your own systems. Create a key in your account, then send it as a bearer token.
Create keyQuickstart
curl https://cloakmail.eu/api/v1/aliases \
-H "Authorization: Bearer cm_live_..."Authentication
Send Authorization: Bearer cm_live_… with every request. Keys are scoped, and a write scope includes the matching read scope. Password, billing, account deletion, and destination changes are managed in your account.
Errors
Error responses include an error code and a short message. 401 means the key is missing, revoked, or expired. 403 PREMIUM_REQUIRED means the subscription has ended. 403 API_KEY_SCOPE means the key doesn’t have access to that endpoint. 429 means a key or mailbox limit was reached.
Limits
Each key allows 600 requests per hour, in addition to the existing mailbox and reply limits. Responses include RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining, and RateLimit-Reset headers.
